Irish Ponys.com is a family run business based in Killinick, Co. Wexford, Ireland. We are producers of top quality Irish sports ponies for all equestrian disiplines. It is our aim to offer our clients the benifit of our vast experience and professionalism when purchasing a new pony for young riders who wish to compete.

Irish Ponies are proud to offer our services which we provide from our home in the south east of Ireland. We have excellent facilities and are dedicated to the satisfaction of our clients. Our impeccable reputation is your guarantee of excellence.

Each pony has been carefully selected for it's temperament, confirmation and rideability. We are very much aware that ponies are to be handled and ridden by children. All of our ponies are open to veterinary inspection.They are kept up to date with routine vaccinations, worming and general health checks by our trusted equine vets.

Viewing is strictlly by appointment only and we allow as much time as is neccessary for each viewing. Clients are encouraged to run through each conceivable step with a pony such as catching, leading, tacking up, loading, etc. Multiple viewings are recommended and we are happy to accommodate this. An enclosed sand arena means children are in a safe facility when riding not to mention under the watchful eye of a recognised, noted instructor.

Producers of Quality Irish Sports Ponies. At Irish Ponys.com we specialise in both home produced and specificly sourced safe, sane and very rideable ponies. Our focus is on producing a pony which conforms to it's type for showing purposes, moves well enough for showing and dressage, impeccably schooled for these disiplines and can confidently complete a course of fences in a disiplined manner. The behind the scenes work and committment is truly dedicated and our aim is to turn out not only very good quality, but ponies with which children can have fun with too. To date many ponies which were purchased from our stables have gone on to excel in almost every disipline. Most families keep in routine contact with us allowing us to follow the acheivements of various ones. It's never more exciting than to hear of another success story from one of our own!!!

Top Class Private Tuition. Available only to those who already own a horse/pony of their own. Intensive one on one lessons which aim to turn out knowledgable, disiplined and thoughful riders who are capable of riding and performing to a high standard within their chosen field. Riders of all levels and intrests are catered for with the emphasis being placed on well rounded horsemanship.

Natural Horsemanship Clinics. Irish Ponys in association with Laura Domenica, founder of "Connected Horsemanship", hosts monthly natural horsemanship clinics which offer a grounded understanding of the horse and allows riders to work in keeping with their horses own instincs and behavior. Schooling. Our moto at Irish Ponies is that a well schooled pony is a happy one. Not only does it make for a happy pony but also for a happy child. We pay attention to the "whole" horse; mental stability, correct way of going and careful development of the body are key to our work. Our schooling packages are tailor made to suit all requirements and pockets! Not only are we available to educate and improve your equine friend but we can also improve and educate the young rider so as to develop that perfect partnership. We specialize in assessing problematic ponies and can offer practical, safe, natural techniques which can make a big difference.
