Over the years we have been approached in many different ways to assist with pony problems. These range from the simple to the most complex problems. This is an area we feel particularly strongly about as most cases have been brought on by humans and the problem horse is the outcome.

Issues in horses and ponies can often be traced back to early handling as a foal/youngster so are not always the wrong doing of it's present rider. Lack of sound equine knowledge combined with horses being produced too quickly and at an alarmingly early age are sadly the norm in Ireland.

We are available to assist with identification of problems and their roots, we can offer sound advice and proven problem solving techniques but we will only work with cases where the owner/rider is prepared to work alongside us. There is never a quick fix or a magic solution. Problems are coping mechanisims which the horse has learned over time, it takes time for him to un-learn them and to teach him new options. The horse generally learns quicker than the human - we have alot to learn from them!
